HI! My name is Jillian but you can call me Gidget. Proud Hufflepuff. I run another blog called baggysweatersandhottea.wordpress.com. This is my main personal blog. I am 26 and have a baby girl who is six. She is my pride and joy. I'm obsessed with Harry Potter and Sailor Moon and I love to craft and binge watch Netflix.
We all have good and bad sides. And there is no good or bad houses in Hogwarts. So, here is my version of positive and negative qualities members of these houses have. If you have some different thoughts, I will b e happy to read them.
But let’s start.
Gryffindor
good: -those who can kill a spider (even if they are afraid of it. just imagine how
funny it would look like). so, obviously brave and not only in such situation
as spider in the room. they may say the teacher that the whole class is not
ready with home task, and at some points take the blame - the people with whom you can have the best memories of your life. they may
suddenly suggest you going on a trip to see the dragons in their natural
habitat or walking in the forbidden forest at night. the time spent with them
is always full of fun - very emotional people. they can’t tell you lies without showing it. thus,
they are very honest. they have high moral standards and will be true to them
till the end of their life.
bad: - driven by emotions. may do things without thinking about consequences. they
may tell something and only then think if it was appropriate or not in this
situation, was it offensive or not - may think that they are privileged ones and be ignorant to others. and at the
same time they need public approval and are worried about their reputation - stubborn and it’s difficult to bargain with them
Hufflepuff
good: - very friendly and polite to others. if once huff has become
your friend, one will be loyal to you. won’t tell anyone your secrets. can
accept you with all you faults. they avoid arguing. never wish bad things to
happen with other people, even if they don’t like them. they are able to
sympathize. may share with you their last chocolate. actuall cinnamon rolls - hard-working. they try their best to be as good as
possible. even if they don’t get the result they wanted to get, they’ll be
still glad for the experience. - they actually know a lot. when they communicate with
different people, they obviously learn some things. and as they are talkative
and sociable people, they are open to any point of view, any interesting fact
or story
bad: - they can be easily offended. as they are not the ones who
would like to argue, they would keep this offence. - may be bothersome. sometimes forget about the border
between friendship and personal life and cross it. - sometimes they try to be the ones they friends want them to
be. they forget about themselves and act according to their friend’s wishes.
they don’t risk and thus miss a lot of opportunities.
Ravenclaw
good: - they are creative. they may be good writers, poets, artist,
singers, etc. as they read a lot, they know a lot. it doesn’t mean that all
this information is useful, but it is fun to listen to them talking on silly
subjects and building up new theories. - they are responsible. they acknowledge all their actions
and may predict good and bad outcomes. they are not afraid of feeling guilty
for something as they understand that all people may make mistakes. they also
don’t blame others for being a misunderstood individuals with different points
of view. they are caring and are most likely to be seen at meetings trying to
stand for their beliefs. they try to change this world for better in global
meaning. and it doesn’t only mean politics. they may express themselves through
art and thus, bring beauty into the world. and this is the change. - they try to improve themselves and be a better version of
them. they have a plan and act according to it. they have high hopes (had to
have high hopes for a living, huh?).
bad: -not the sociable ones. when they are trying to become a minister
of magic, a famous artist or a magical musician, they may act ignorant as they
concentrate on the aim. sometimes they may express their opinion that is
controversial or the opposite of their friend’s and accidentally offend them.
snobbish - may be too critical. if someone else has done something,
for example, wrote a story, one can say sharp words, go too deep into the
story, find faults and thus left the writer alone with tears. at the same time,
they are good liars and can smile and say good things, when meaning actually
opposite. - sometimes may be too worried about their grades. they work hard
and don’t have time for themselves. this may lead to nervous breakdown,
depression and other mental illnesses
Slytherin
good: - they are ambitious. they also have high aims and try to
achieve them. they are actually not bad at studying, as they are the motivated
ones. - they are actually very close with their families. They’ll
never tell “my dad sucks” or something like this. If someone criticize
their family or members of it (for example “your parents are too strict, i
don’t understand why are you not allowed to hang out till late at night”)
they will try to protect it and say a bunch of good things about the family. - they don’t care about other people’s opinion and act as
they wish in order to achieve their goal.
bad:
- they may use the status of their family in order to achieve
something. They also may tread on someone’s head in order to get what they
want.
- may be narcissistic and selfish. Sometimes they have a feeling that they are
the most important people on the planet and are indifferent to feelings of
others. During such periods may forget about the role which a friend usually
plays and be think only about their problems.
- they like to argue. Especially they like the feeling of being the one who was
right in the dispute
so last week I reposted the money dog hoping money would come my way and guess what… IT WORKED!
the very next day I found the most amazing website. they will literally pay you to take quizzes like the ones on buzzfeed (for market research or some shit.) I know that they’re legit bc I already received my first $20 via paypal, BLESS U MONEY DOG 😭 I only spent like an hour taking quizzes so I couldn’t be happier
peter parker in the 2002 movie is fuckin…. incredible. he gets bitten by a fuckin jacked red blue spider and he doesnt say “hey someone should take me to the hospital mayhaps?” he just goes home. then the bite swells to the size of a fuckin jawbreaker but he’s like “nah i just need a nap.” then he wakes up the next day and discovers that he DOESN’T NEED HIS GLASSES ANYMORE and he has a fuckin six pack. does he flip his entire Fuck? no. he says, “cool.” iconic.
like notice how nowhere in that lil staff update did they mention getting rid of nazi or white supremacist content. they still get to keep theyre racist and neofascist userbase while appearing to do something useful
I love how their post says “A better, more positive Tumblr” as if female nipples are what’s ruining the experience on this website and not bullies, racists, homophobes and actual nazis
